A Romantic Comedy

For the past few months I’ve had the privilege of working with, the newly wed, Rachel and Joel Young. These two are the quintessential romantic comedy and their wedding this past Friday was a true reflection of that. Every detail of the wedding was kept under lock & key. They arranged it with the pastor to have him open his message with an original rap, their vows consisted of -among other things- “I’ll wash when you dry, and dry when you wash”, and the ceremony ended with the pastor telling the groom he “may now hi5 the bride” (which was then followed by the kiss).
Following the ceremony the couple, along with their wedding party, proceeded to the campus of University of Waterloo and headed straight for Humanities Theatre. It was there that Rachel first saw Joel while he was acting in a show and they thought it would be the perfect spot for their wedding photos. For their first dance, Rachel & Joel changed into dancing-appropriate attire and impressed their family and friends by performing the actual dance from Dirty Dancing!
