Fortunate or Unfortunate?
I coordinated a lovely wedding today and, again, I am left wondering how anyone weds without a coordinator to trouble-shoot the wedding day surprises!
Michelle and Wesley are the most darling couple you’ll ever meet. They share a most sincere love that anyone can see when they catch each others’ glance. Unfortunately, sincere love does not equal a flawless wedding day -or perhaps that is a fortunate thing considering my job is dependant upon wedding day woes. An early morning phone call alerted me to the fact that Wesley’s computer had died and it held all of the wedding day music within it’s confines. The remarkable Maid of Honour, Miss. Nadine Feser, ensured Michelle had no idea that anything was wrong while I picked up a key to her appartment to pick up her laptop. I spent my *Happy Hour* importing the requested CD’s onto Nadine’s MacBook. It was ready just in time as the first honoured family members arrived.
Lesson: If relying on a computer, always create a back-up disc in case of emergency.
*Happy Hour*= Leeway Hour for which I am happy that I schedule, leading up to ceremony, for wedding day emergencies!
Sincerely,
